Amanda is a professional actor, dancer, singer, and vocal instructor. She is proficient in all styles of singing and specializes in teaching mix/belt, classical/legit, pop/rock, jazz, and country. Amanda earned a BFA in Music Dance Theatre from BYU and brings over 25 years of performing experience to her teaching.

From 2012 to 2014, she toured nationally and internationally with the BYU Young Ambassadors and worked as a professional dancer at both Disneyland and LEGOLAND Resort. Amanda has performed with theaters across Utah, including Sundance, Hale Center Theater Orem, Hale Centre Theatre Sandy, Hale West Valley, and West Valley Performing Arts.

She also served as Associate Artistic Director for two years at One Voice Children’s Choir. Amanda is continuing her education as a vocal instructor and is currently certified in Maddie Tarbox’s (MFA) Voice Function 101, a course focused on evidence-based vocal training.

Amanda is passionate about creating an environment where students feel safe to be brave, take risks, and grow—not only as artists but as individuals. She is dedicated to helping emerging performers find their voice and build confidence in their craft.

We are all feeling ready for summer, so we are very excited to announce that registeration for our 2025 summer camps is now OPEN!

This month, we're excited to spotlight our incredible new piano teacher, Christian Wawro! Here’s a quick glimpse into why we’re so lucky to have him on board:

“Christian has taught music students in the SCERA Youth Theater program for over 10 years. He recently music directed Fiddler on the Roof at the SCERA Shell. He has traveled the world playing piano with the BYU Young Ambassadors and was employed by Brigham Young University as an accompanist for their Music, Dance, Theater (MDT) program for many years.”
