What is the Impact Club?
The Impact Club is a combination of a season ticket and a charitable donation to The Ruth. It provides members an elevated theater experience that includes access to premium seating in our new theater, an invitation to attend a catered meal during the run of each regular-season show, invitations to other VIP events and an exclusive concierge line for front of the service to purchase tickets, rent space at the theater, etc. Our Impact Club community is full of avid theater goes, and community supporters, and is continually growing. Memberships range from $4,000-$100,000 a year. Is the Impact Club Tax Deductible?
Yes. A portion of the Impact Club membership is tax deductible. The exact amount will vary depending on the level you choose, and whether you select a 1-year or 3-year commitment, but on average, at least 50% of your membership will be considered a charitable donation and is fully tax deductible. The rest will go to cover the cost of tickets, dinners and other events that are included in your membership. How much of my membership is tax deductible, and how much is not?
At least 50% of each membership is tax deductible, but the exact amount will vary based on the Impact Club Level, and whether your membership is a 3-year discounted membership or not. Below is a list of how much of each membership is tax deductible at the full 1-year rate:
- Level 1: $3,000
- Level 2: $5,000
- Level 3: $12,000
- Level 4: $26,000
- Level 5: $75,000
What does it mean when it says “$4,000: 3-year commitment”?
Normally, to be a member of the Impact Club at level 1, it requires a $5,000 payment. However, if you commit to a 3-year membership, your annual fee is discounted 20% so you only pay $4,000 a year. This 20% discount is applied at any level for a 3-year commitment.
If I choose to do a 3-year commitment, do I need to pay for all three years up front?
No. In order to take advantage of your full year of membership benefits, your membership fee will be due by December 31st each year for the next year’s benefits. For 2025 benefits, for example, your membership fee will be due by December 31, 2024, and then you will pay for your 2026 benefits by December 31, 2025.
What if I want to bring additional guests to the Impact Club nights?
We do allow members to purchase additional seats to dinner and the show on Impact Club nights. Depending on your level, you have the ability to purchase 2-12 additional seats for each Impact Club night at $200 per ticket. The Impact Club is part donation, part tickets and dinner, so the purchase price for those additional seats will reflect that.

Can I give my tickets to someone else?
Yes. You are able to gift your tickets to someone else. The tickets will still be under your name when you arrive for Impact Club Events, but we are happy to host a guest if you are unable to make it to a show. However, once those tickets are used, they cannot be claimed another night.
What if I give up my Impact Club membership – what happens to my seats? And can I still get good season tickets?
If you choose not to renew your Impact Club Membership, you will still be able to purchase season tickets as a lifetime donor of the theater with priority access. However, the seats you purchase after the inaugural season will be limited to whichever seats have not already been selected by other season tickets holders planning to renew. You are welcome to purchase season tickets outside of your Impact Club Membership at any time, and those seat locations will remain yours until you choose not to renew.
